Supply and Transportation Agreements
Golden Pass LNG has secured a final investment decision to proceed with the development of its LNG export project at the existing terminal in Sabine Pass, Texas. Natural gas supply will be transported to the facility via the existing Golden Pass Pipeline, a 69-mile, 2,600,000 Dth/d interstate pipeline that is presently connected to nine pipeline systems.
Golden Pass will continue to evaluate additional supply pipeline opportunities in order to meet its full anticipated demand needs of up to 2,600,000 Dth/d.
Connections to Existing Supply
Golden Pass has executed a 20-year contract with Enable Gulf Run Transmission for 1,100,000 Dth/d of firm transportation service. The Gulf Run Pipeline will connect to Golden Pass Pipeline at Starks, Louisiana. Additionally, Golden Pass has entered into a 20-year commitment with Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL) for 340,000 Dth/d of firm transportation service with direct delivery to Golden Pass LNG. The combination of these two pipeline transportation commitments provides Golden Pass with access to natural gas supply from many of the key producing regions in the United States, including Haynesville, Bossier, Marcellus, Utica, Permian, Mid-Continent, Barnett, and Eagle Ford basins.
Parties that have an interest in offering natural gas supply or transportation solutions should contact Jeff Hammad, VP Commercial for Golden Pass, via email at info@goldenpasslng.com.
