While Southeast Texas perseveres through the COVID-19 crisis, many companies and residents are getting a boost from opportunity brought to the area by the Golden Pass LNG export project. The project’s EPC contractor CCZJV has committed over $245 million to more than 150 local businesses so far, and more than 650 local residents are working on the construction site. The project’s total payroll to local residents since project inception is over $31 million. And there are still years of opportunity ahead.

The Golden Pass Products LLC export project at the existing Golden Pass LNG facility in Sabine Pass, Texas, is moving forward following a positive final investment decision from its owners, affiliates of Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil.
The Foundation for Southeast Texas today announced the recipients of the second round of grants from the $1.5 million Golden Pass Hurricane Harvey Recovery Fund. October 28, 2015 – HOUSTON, TEXAS – Golden Pass Products today launched the Opportunity Roadmap, an initiative to connect local people and businesses with opportunities created by industrial development in Southeast Texas. The first phase of the Opportunity Roadmap is a Local Business Initiative, which gives local businesses an opportunity to get “pre-screened” to compete for work with the proposed Golden Pass Products liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project.
